Diabetes Educators


  • Mary Beth Robinson, MS, RD, LD, CDCES, is a certified diabetes care and education specialist and registered dietitian. She is an Oklahoma native, where she earned her master’s degree in nutritional science from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. As a leading expert in diabetes care and education for Parkland Health’s Community Health Needs Assessment Diabetes initiative, she serves as a liaison and expert field as a Certified Diabetes Care Education Specialist (Registered Dietician). She provides educational oversight for diabetes paraprofessionals in the Communities of south Dallas. Her role as a diabetes education leader and community change agent connects community members and patients to clinically appropriate diabetes resources within the healthcare system and to resources that will assist in addressing social determinants of health.

    She aims to empower individuals through education, sustainable nutrition, and exercise promotion to achieve wellness and ensure lifelong practices. In her free time, Mary Beth enjoys being active, spending time with friends and family, and cheering for her young athlete on the ball field.



  • Regina Wren, MBA, BSN, RN-BC is a seasoned registered nurse and army veteran with more than 20 years of varied nursing experience. Wren is originally from Austin, Texas, but has lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex for over 15 years. She is passionate about driving innovation and delivering impactful results for clients across the healthcare continuum. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with family and her Schnoodle, Duckey.
