How to Request a Prescription Refill

If you are using a Parkland pharmacy, call in your refills up to seven days before you run out of medicine. You may call up to three days early if you are taking a controlled substance.

If there are no refills left, the pharmacy will try to call your healthcare provider for more refills. You can always call the phone prescription refill line to see if your medicines are ready.

If you do not pick up your medicines in seven to 10 days, the pharmacy will put them back and you will have to re-order them.

Consider using a pill box to help manage your medicines.
